Hello all,
I went down to the tower this morning after work to play with my new Sigma 135-400mm lens for my Olympus E-500.
When I got there at ~6:30 AM. Kathy pulled up behind me and said that she is normally not at the bridge that early in the morning, but when she got up this morning to get a glass of water she saw a deer in her backyard, and that was unusual for her because she lives in the city. Well she was up for the day, so she came out to see the falcons.
As we talked, we noticed Dan's car, and looked out on the bridge to where he was. We walked out to talk with him, and as we walked Mariah took to flight from the tulips heading northeast. She circled around a bit, and Dan said that Kaver had headed out north a bit earlier, so we figured Mariah was in the air to take a food exchange. Well in came Kaver and boy was Mariah upset, squawking away, that he was unsuccessful in getting any Breakfast. Well she decided to take things into her own talons and took off over towards the brewery, went strait into a stoop, and a couple minutes later came back with a pigeon.
By this time Larry showed up with his dog, Dan and Kathy had enough of the chilly morning air and headed out. Larry and I decided to go to the top of the parking garage. Finding out that the elevators were turned off, it ended up being only me taking the stairs as Larry decided to walk out to the Kodak parking lot.
I was able to get a a few photos of Mariah breaking up the meal for the young and will post them to my site hopefully this weekend.
