Sat 2/02/08 at 2pm we spotted two Bald Eagles resting on Bay! In the North Eastern Cove (Sandbar area)

today 3/03/08 @ 3pm we spotted 5! a little further west almost across from Mayers - how incredible is that!

That's great JWells,

Saturday January 26th, I had to run an errand on Empire Blvd and of all days, I leave my camera at home. After the errand, I decided to take a ride down by Sutter's marine to see if I could see anything with my binoculars. Well out on the ice I see mom and dad eagle, and as I focus in on them, the male jumps up on her back and proceeds to mate with her.
Looks like it may be another fun spring down at the bay. Hopefully their mating will be fruitful.
